Graces of Beauty

When I met you I found my heartbeat
The rhythm of my life where melody seat
In the palace of gold warmed by passion heat
In rows of validation arranged straight and neat
Pulling down dross and all poisoned meat

You are the full spectrum of color
The budded scepter of my honor
The hallo that defines my demeanor
The gilded gown that decorates my labor
You give me height before the neighbor

You stand tall in the graces of beauty
Dressed in garments of character so pretty
Veiled with softness of strength and in nothing petty
Shrouded with the perfume of aloha and everything mighty
Endowed with a majestic poise and in no way hasty

You fill my mouth with the sweetness of honey
Your thought fills my mind like a sack full of money
You set my feet on a self-discovery journey
Through lavish rooms accessed only by your master key
By the power of exclusivity secured in the pearly valley

My heart beats in sync with your wishes
Working odd hours to secure perfect finishes
Harvesting hidden treasures from strange bushes
Curbing the disempowering effects of negative rushes
Till the reverberating ding of fear finally hushes
